Healthy Opportunities for Parents to Experience Success
HOPES is a high quality family-centered, family support service. It is a home visitation program to visit pregnant women, parents of newborns, and other families that are with children 0 - 5 years of age. All families are offered services, addressing a host of family issues, such as helath and development, school readiness, socialization, parent-child interaction, parenting, and family skills.
SERVICES PROVIDED
In-home visits by specially trained staff who offer support with infant, toddler & childhood development education.
Assistance in guiding parents toward locating community resources for personal growth and well being.
Linkage of family to medical provider. Follow-up to ensure that immunizations are timely and up to date.
Ability to provide long-term, intensive services to families (from birth to five years of age).
COST OF PROGRAM
HOPES services are FREE thanks to support from state and local governments and private funds.
