COST OF SERVICES

The cost of services to the county varies between providers of those services. The rough averages are:

Adult Care	$ 30 per day
Work Services	$ 33 per day
Supported Employment	$ 28 per day
Supported Community Living	$ 22 per day
Group Home	$ 42 per day
ICF/MR or State Hospital	$ 95 per day
Mental Health Services
Counseling	$ 78 per day
Psychiatric mediatcation therapy	$160 per day
Inpatient Treatment	$200 per day

You may help pay for the cost of services that you receive. Whether you do or not is based on what you have for resources (what you own), how much income you have, and what you receive in public benefits such as Veterans Affairs, SSI or Social Security. The decision of whether you must pay part or all the charges for the services you receive is made by the provider of services, the State of Iowa, or the Coordinator.
