The Board of Supervisors is the executive and legislative branch of a county government. The Board consists of three members for Audubon County, serving four-year terms. The following are some of their important duties:

 

  1. Make policies for the county

  2. Manage county property

  3. Final authority over the budget

  4. Appropriate funds

  5. Levy county taxes

  6. Responsible for numerous boards, commissions and committees

  7. Hire county engineer
